First Solid Food

The pediatrician said that we can start feeding the twins rice cereal. Audrey ate several spoonfuls of the rice cereal without much complaint. Jackson, on the other hand, was not was not happy with the new food. I think that we found a new a new shade of purple. We should have started with something that tasted a little better. The good news is that the kids slept for 8 hours last night. Yippeee!

Like Weeds!

The kids won't stop growing no matter how hard we try. We took the kids to the doctor today for their 4 month check-up and Jackson is 11 lbs 4.5 oz and 23 1/4 inches long. Audrey is 8 lbs 10.5 oz and 21 3/4 inches long. I can't believe how big they are getting.

Homecoming

I was locked up at Round Rock Medical Center for a few days and just got out last night. It started out as a bug but ended up making my Colitis flare-up. The doctor would not let me out of the hospital until they made sure that it was not a bacterial infection which takes 3 days. I missed my kiddos, but I am glad that they did not catch the bug. Luckily my Mom was in town to pick-up the slack with the kids. I can honestly say that I did not miss the 3:00 AM feeding (sorry Mom). I think that the kids actually looked a little bigger after being gone for 3 days. We are not all (including the dog) going to be able to fit on the chair much longer.

Flip Camcorder

My Mom got a new Flip Camcorder to take video of the kids and to take on vacation. It is a pretty neat camera. The camera has a built-in USB plug and software. You can plug the camcorder directly into your computer and upload and edit your videos. It is way cool!

You can hear Audrey blowing bubbles in the background. She has just discovered that you can make some really neat noises with your mouth.

My Mom was talking to Audrey and she started smiling and laughing. The first video we took of her she was just staring at the camera. That always happens; the kids do some really cute things until the camera starts rolling. It just figures. :)
